2018 Ofsted Report
17th April 2018
Dear Parents and Carers
Findings of the recent Ofsted Inspection
Following our recent Inspection by Ofsted, on Wednesday 21st March 2018, I am delighted to be able to share with you the Inspector’s letter, which confirms that Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School continues to be a good school. The letter is to be found here http://holytrinitycrawley.greenschoolsonline.co.uk/Ofsted-Reports/ on our school website and will be published on the Ofsted website from Monday 23rd April 2018.
As noted by the Inspectors in the letter, the school is very well led and has maintained the good quality of education since the last inspection. Within the school there is an environment that fosters the care and nurture of the whole school community, which is driven by the school’s Christian values. Teaching has developed across the school and there are many areas where particularly strong learning and progress has been identified. The students value their teachers highly. The inspector also notes that the school’s work to promote students’ personal development and welfare is strong. Students highly value their teachers, and they feel safe and secure in the school.
I would like to thank all of the staff, students, governors and parents/carers for their contribution to the inspection. In particular, thank you to those who completed the Parent View Questionnaire – the Inspector was particularly impressed by the number of responses which reflects the positive engagement which we enjoy.
I was extremely proud of both the students and staff on the day of inspection, as indeed I always am, and am delighted that the high standards of the school were recognised by the inspectors. I am considering a way in which this can be rewarded for the students in the coming weeks.
I am sure you will enjoy reading this Ofsted letter. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely
Rev. C Millwood
