The Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School

HTS Sixth Form wins an SSAT Educational Outcomes award.

21st April 2020

Dear Learning & Teaching Community

I am delighted to be able to share with you that Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School has been recognised nationally by receiving a prestigious award from the Schools, Students and Teachers Network (SSAT).  The school was found by the SSAT to be amongst the best performing non-selective sixth forms in the country and has received an award from them in recognition for achieving significantly higher than national average student progress in academic subjects at key stage 5.

Sue Williamson, Chief Executive of SSAT said:

‘Congratulations to Holy Trinity CofE Secondary School, Crawley on winning an SSAT Educational Outcomes award.  This success is down to the superb learning and teaching, outstanding support and inspirational leadership of students, staff, parents and governors.  You have made a huge difference to the lives of the young people in your school.  Thank you.’

We pride ourselves at Holy Trinity at delivering a post-16 curriculum for Level 3 students that is diverse and inclusive for all students within our local community.

Reverend Millwood, Headteacher said:

‘This award is the culmination of all of the hard work put into the education of our young people by all members of our local community, be they the staff, governors, parents and carers or the talented students themselves.  What I am really proud of is that for this cohort of young people we have lived up to the school vision of our school being a centre of excellence for learning, inspired by Christian values, where every person in our school community fulfils their potential.  I know that these young people, whatever path they have chosen, now have a wonderful platform upon which to grow.’

We still have a limited number of places available for the September courses for some of our post-16 pathways.  For further information about the curriculum or to look at the latest prospectus online please go to our school website at  https://www.holytrinity.w-sussex.sch.uk/6th-Form-Prospectus-Curriculum-Information/  and for any specific queries please email our Head of Sixth Form, Mr Green at kgreen@holytrinitycrawley.org.uk.

Yours sincerely

Mr R Bradley - Deputy Headteacher Curriculum
